TPNS can simulate
a wide variety of terminals and network resources in an effort to maximize the efficiency of your network. These include: 

• TCP Client and Server simulation
• Telnet 3270 clients on a TCP/IP network
• FTP over a TCP/IP network
• SNA logical units as VTAM application programs
• Token-Ring Network resources
• Ethernet V2 and IEEE 802.3 resources
• LU6.2 APPC/APPN including CPI-C
• X.25 PVC and SVC networks and resources
• ISC , MSC Links and ALC terminals
• Frame relay equipment
• SNA resources including terminals, subareas and domains

Running a Simulation

• Start the application to be tested and then TPNS
• TPNS will simulate terminals which will connect to the application
• Application does not know that there are no real terminals
